Tongues are wagging about a new “merger.” Supposedly a figure from showbiz is making sweet music with a familiar face from politics. 

Let's call them Entertainment Expert (EE) and Public Personality (PP). 

EE has been involved in the entertainment industry for decades. She is focused on a specialized aspect – that of delivering stories about everyday happenings. EE has since developed a reputation.

However, unlike other entertainment personalities, EE has managed to keep her love life away from the public eye. 

Also, it seemed that she has purposely avoided high-profile love interests, so as not to be written about.

PP has been in his field for decades as well. 

With a common surname, PP made sure he was worthy of the clan. 

PP established his reputation on his own merits. He has since gained many followers showing capability in his position.

Rumors about the two started after they have been spotted together in a number of events giving “new couple” vibes.

Observers were quick to ship them as they looked good together.

It should be said however that although EE is single, PP is already a family man. 

Now many are waiting for confirmation relating the rumor and fast.

The public can be impatient with the what-you-see-is-what-you-get attitude of other personalities.

Determined to hide

Whenever new talent emerges, management usually tries the tested love team route. Successful pairs have enabled management to reap millions or even billions. 

Producers in turn cash in on these lucrative partnerships by churning out projects one after another.

Naturally, the powers that be want to take advantage of fans fervently wishing for the pair to end up with each other in real life.

On one hand, some of these couples do fall for each other. On the other, some are defiant and insist that their team up remain purely professional. 

It is the latter that gives management a headache. Such defiance could easily shatter the illusion of fans eventually leading to the pair losing viability. 

Consequently, actors who are vocal about being in a real life relationship outside the pairing are made to keep silent. Thus, the real love interest has to be kept hidden.

That might be the case for Young Actor (YA). 

YA did not start his career with a love team. He only got himself involved in one after fans started shipping him and Talented Actress (TA). 

Management decided to pair them to the delight of fans. Of course, the two had no choice but simply follow instructions. 

Suddenly, both were announced as single. There are a few who doubted this supposed fact, at least on the side of YA.

Allegedly, YA already has a real life partner, a model from a reputable university. 

Of course, YA will never dare admit to it along the way exposing his new partner, who might suddenly get unwanted attention.
