Ervic Vijandre is currently among hot topics on social media, this, after his own brother, Erwin, has come out to accuse him of physical assault.

Posting on Facebook several photos of his bruised face along with a screenshot of the actor-politician greeting him on his birthday he wrote, “Seryoso ka ba? Baka di mo alam kung gaanong trauma ginawa mo sa pamilya ko?”

In a separate Facebook post, Erwin's wife, Jaye, related the alleged incident happened last New Year’s Eve.

She wrote, “We kept quiet even though he never asked how Erwin was. He ONLY said sorry when we were at the police station and hall of justice, asking Erwin to not press charges on him. Erwin gave him the favor and still protected his ‘good’ image.”

“After he was released from detention, my husband didn’t hear anything from him and now he’s greeting him publicly as if nothing happened,” she added.

As to why they are finally making the incident public, she explained that they simply want “to put an end to (Ervic’s) hypocrisy.”

Jaye wrote, “I hope he gets our message to stop his hypocrisy and spare(s) my family our sanity and peace of mind.”

“When he threw multiple big punches on my husband’s head (all to the head), it was unprovoked and he started it while my husband’s back was turned. All of our children were there and they witnessed how he tried to end Erwin’s life,” Jaye recalled.

“He was mad and he let it all out to my husband because of his conflicts with his family,” she further alleged.

Ervic is yet to address the allegation as of writing. 

Note that in 2016, Ervic also made headlines after supposedly attacking a man unprovoked in Pasay City.
