Brawner lauds 4ID troops for operational feats

General Romeo Brawner Jr., chief of staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), applauded personnel of the 4^th Infantry Division (4ID) for their accomplishments in internal security and other military operations.

Brawner visited the headquarters of the 402^nd Infantry Brigade (402 IBde) in Barangay Bancasi on Friday, Feb. 28, where he was welcomed by the 4ID led by its commander, Brig. Gen. Michele Anayron Jr.

He awarded 29 officers and enlisted personnel of the 901^st and 401^st Infantry Brigades “for their exceptional performance in sustaining combat, intelligence, and civil-military operations in support of national security and socio-economic development”, particularly in the provinces of Agusan del Sur and Agusan del Norte.

Brawner also donned the new rank of Anayron, who recently got promoted to major general.

The military chief rallied the troops to continue their dedication and professionalism to help the AFP hit its targets for this year.

“Your actions are a powerful reminder of the difference one person or one team can make. Your achievement today is not only a testament to your strength but also to the collective spirit of all of us working hand-in-hand,” Brawner said.
