Helper wanted for rape arrested

Police operatives arrested an 18-year-old male helper listed as the No. 3 most wanted person for rape in Muntinlupa.

The suspect, identified as alias Nono, a resident of Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City, was arrested on Feb. 7 in Barangay Tunasan.

The operation was conducted by the Muntinlupa Police Warrant and Subpoena Unit led by Police Executive Master Sergeant Renante Jesalva and 13 other operatives.

Nono was arrested based on an order to take custody with a recommended bail of P200,000 issued on Jan. 30 by Presiding Judge Wehrly Gutierrez-Mendez of the Muntinlupa Family Court Branch 8. The suspect is in police custody.

Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena, chief of the Southern Police District, said, “This arrest is a testament to our relentless pursuit of criminals and our dedication to upholding the law. We remain steadfast in our mission to protect our communities and bring offenders to justice. Let this serve as a strong message that no one is beyond the reach of the law. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure peace and security for the people of Muntinlupa and the entire Southern Police District.”
