The Caloocan City government announced on Monday, Feb. 10, that it will offer a week-long free medical check-up at the Caloocan City North Medical Center (CCNMC) as part of the city’s 63rd Cityhood Anniversary celebration.

According to the city’s Public Information Office (PIO), the medical initiative will run from Feb. 17 to 21, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Residents may avail themselves of free medical services, including laboratory tests, reproductive health services, heart and kidney health services, and general health services.
These include Complete Blood Count - Platelet Count (CBC-PC), Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg), Venereal Disease Research Laboratory (VDRL), dengue non-structural protein 1 (NS1), syphilis test, Capillary Blood Glucose (CBG), HIV screening, and electrocardiogram (ECG).
Other available services include Intrauterine Device (IUD) insertion and removal, pelvic ultrasound, pap smear, buntis package (Pregnancy Care), breast ultrasound, and mammogram for reproductive health, as well as kidney, ureter, and bladder (KUB) examination for kidney health.
Residents may also attend a lecture on nutrition and hypertension, avail of tooth extraction, and undergo other necessary screenings.
The city government encourages residents to visit the Caloocan City North Medical Center along Camarin Road, North Caloocan City, to take advantage of these free medical services.
