Parañaque traffic bureau to implement road closure on Feb. 9

The Parañaque City government announced that temporary road closure will be implemented on Sunday, Feb. 9 to give way for the Fun Run and Zumba Event in relation to the celebration of the 27th Cityhood Anniversary.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said the Traffic and Parking Management Office (TPMO) will implement road closure starting at 5 a.m. and onwards.
Olivarez said portion of A. Cabrera, A Luz Drive, N. Abueva St. and A. Imao St., along Aseana Avenue and Diokno Boulevard, will be closed to traffic.
He said motorists were advised to take alternate routes in going to their destination.
The mayor said 2,000 individuals or more are expected to join the Fun Run and Zumba: Takbo at Indak para sa Malusog at Masiglang Parañaqueno on Sunday.
Olivarez said the 2,000 participants who have registered for the event will receive race kits and other freebies.
He said the city government will also offer free rides to participants in going to Parqal Shopping Mall where the event will be conducted.
