Andrew Julian replaces mom Rep. Yedda Romualdez as Tingog first nominee
TACLOBAN CITY – Andrew Julian, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez’s eldest son, replaced his mother, Rep. Yedda, as first nominee of Tingog party-list.

This was announced during the penultimate day of the three-day National Tingog Summit 2025 in Palo, Leyte, on Saturday, Feb. 8.
The 24-year-old Andrew leads Tingog’s 10 nominees in the May elections.
Rep. Jude Acidre remains the second nominee while Yedda’s sister, Happy Calatrava, is the third nominee.
Alexis Yu is the fourth nominee, Paul Richard Muncada, fifth, and Yedda, now in her second term, sixth nominee.
Tingog stated that Yedda opted to support her son’s candidacy to take a rest from politics.
The other Tingog nominees are Aref Usman, Liza Barrientos, Jaime Go, and Glenn Jude Rufino.
Meanwhile, the Speaker’s second son, Ferdinand Martin “Marty” Jr., is running for councilor here for the first time.
