BACOLOD CITY – A total of 8,000 visitors are expected to arrive in this city to attend major tourism events this month.
Among these is the PAL Interclub Golf Tournament that brings together top golfers for the two-week competition.

The event kicked off at the Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club on Friday, Feb. 7, and will conclude on Feb. 21, with over 2,000 participants.
More than 3,000 technology enthusiasts will converge for the Bacolod Esports Enthusiasts Convention 2025 on Feb. 15 and 16.
This event will transform the city into a hub for esports, attracting players, fans, and organizers for a celebration of gaming culture and innovation, according to the City Tourism Office.
This city also expects 3,000 delegates in the 89th National Convention of Local Treasurers and Assessors at the SMX Convention Center from Feb. 17 to 20.
The event will discuss key topics related to valuation standardization and reforms among local treasurers and assessors.
The City Tourism Office said that these events are expected to provide a boost to local tourism, benefiting hotels, restaurants, and businesses, as well as transportation services, further improving Bacolod’s reputation as a top destination for tourism and events.
It will also allow visitors to experience the vibrant culture and warm hospitality of the people here.
The city government, together with local offices such as the Bacolod City Police Office, Public Order and Safety Office, and Bacolod Traffic Authority Office, is working to ensure the success of these events.
