Filipina endurance athlete Jennifer Aimee “Jenn” Uy will be one of the several competitors vying to complete the Ultraman Florida 2025, a three-day triathlon event that will be held from Feb. 14 to 16 in Central Florida.

First launched in 2014, Ultraman Florida involves 517 kilometers of swimming, biking, and running challenges that test the limits of athletes’ physical and mental fortitude.
The event also serves as a qualifier for November's Ultraman World Championships in Hawaii.
To conquer the Florida contest, Uy will have to brave a 10-kilometer swim, a 420km bike ride, and 84km run to reach the finish line.
Despite the grueling task ahead, the 37-year-old Uy is no stranger to these sorts of challenges, having started her triathlon journey in 2016 after transitioning from long-distance running.
Ever since she was crowned as the female champion in her ultramarathon debut in a local 50km race, the corporate executive has completed multiple triathlons and bagged several podium finishes.
Her accolades include earning the female overall crown in the 102KM Bataan Death March in 2023, completing the 2023 IRONMAN World Championship, and a third-place finish in the 2024 Century Tuna IRONMAN Philippines.
