Cayetano attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the TCITx together with officials from the Department of Transportation and Ayala Land.

According to Ayala Land, the TCITx, which will be built in Arca South in Barangay Western Bicutan, will span five hectares and can accommodate up to 160,000 passengers and 5,200 vehicles daily.

It will be directly integrated into the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) and Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP).

The transport hub is the second integrated terminal exchange in Metro Manila after the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX).

Cayetano joined DOTr Secretary Jaime Bautista, Ayala Land Chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, and Ayala Land president and CEO Anna Ma. Margarita Dy at the ceremony.

"These events are a testament to our shared vision of making travel more convenient, efficient, comfortable, and accessible for every Filipino. The TCITX will redefine how commuters navigate our transport system," said Bautista.

The TCITx is expected to be completed in 2027.
