878 Caraga cops promoted

CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Eight-hundred seventy-eight Police Regional Office-13 (Caraga) personnel were promoted and sworn in on Thursday, Feb. 6.

The promotees were seven majors, 34 captains, 31 lieutenants, 99 executive master sergeants, 46 chief master sergeants, 122 senior master sergeants, 223 master sergeants, 30 staff sergeants, and 286 corporals.

PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Christopher N. Abrahano congratulated them on their promotion.

"Stay sharp, stay focused, and stay ethical,” he said.

“Skills, if left unused, they become perishable. I call you to lead with honor. The badge you wear is not a privilege; it is a promise,” Abrahano added. “May you all lead with integrity, serve with pride, and make your promotion truly meaningful."

The event was witnessed by National Police Commission-Caraga Director Josephmar B. Gil; Jennifer Hazel A. Racaza-Patete, chairperson of the Police Regional Appellate Board, and Lucia C. Niez, chief of the Administration Division of Napolcom-Caraga.

Meanwhile, the PRO-13 signed a peace covenant and solidarity agreement with the Commission on Elections-Caraga and other stakeholders for the May elections in this camp on Wednesday, Jan. 5.

"At all costs, we will safeguard the rights of every voter and protect all individuals involved in the elections. Alongside the Commission on Elections, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and all stakeholders, we will serve as your partners in making these elections a resounding success," Abrahano, who led the signing , said.

“All field unit commanders of PRO-13 under the leadership of Abrahano vow to work hand-in-hand with the different stakeholders in this region to protect the voice of the people and the democratic processes,” said PRO 13-Regional Public Information Office chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer.
