TJ Monterde hits one billion on Spotify, becomes most streamed Filipino artist

After the three-day sold out concerts at the Big Dome on Feb. 1-3, TJ Monterde became the most streamed Filipino artist on Spotify for the first time.

Everyone was still in awe with TJ’s breakthrough after breakthrough. His current achievements:

* He made history as Smart Araneta Coliseum awarded him the first solo act to sell out tickets for three consecutive shows.

* The phenomenal hit “Palagi” by TJ & KZ is Billboard Philippines' No. 1 song of 2024.

* "Palagi" has been streamed one billion times on Spotify.

These achievements made the 35-year-old singer the biggest Filipino artist in the recording and concert scene today.

In March, TJ is set to take the successful “Sarili Nating Mundo” concert to the world.

TJ is the husband of singer KZ Tandingan. They tied the knot in August 2020.
