Actor and dancer Mark Herras has finally put a pin on his viral video dancing in a gay entertainment bar in Paranaque City.

During his recent interview with Toni Gonzaga-Soriano for Toni Talks, Mark shared his side of the story saying that it was all for work.

"Hindi ko siya planado, kumbaga sumayaw ako kasi trabaho.(I didn't plan for it, I did the dance because it's for work)," Mark said.

He also clarified that he was just a guest performer who didn't remove any clothes and entertained the audience during that time.

“Sayaw lang? Wala naman problema. Nu'ng game time na, andoon ‘yung mga drag queens, may mga dancers din talaga na nawalan ng career sa TV na ‘yung iba ay kakilala ko. So ako, dumating ako doon as performer talaga as guest nila…parang katulad ng ginagawa ko sa raket fiesta, pero nagkataon lang na gay bar siya. (Just dance? No problem at all. When it was game time, the drag queens were there, there were actually dancers who lost their careers on TV, some of whom I knew. So I came there as a performer and as their guest...it's like what I do at fiestas, but it just happened to be a gay bar)" Mark said.

"Hindi naman ako naghubad eh, hindi naman ako sumayaw na parang macho dancer or what. I performed. I danced, like 'yung hip hop. Hindi naman ako nagpa-table or what. (I didn't take off my clothes. I didn't dance like a macho dancer or something. I performed. I danced, like hip hop)," he added.

Although the video went viral and got mixed reactions from the audience, Mark didn't care at all because his goal at that time was to provide for his family.

"Ang goal ko kasi is to provide, so mas pinili ko na yung tahimik na side ng career ko, hindi dahil tanggap ko na wala na ako sa limelight parang okay wala na ako it's fine, pero masaya ako na may trabaho pa ako. (My goal is to provide, so I've chosen the quiet side of my career. Not because I accept that I'm no longer in the limelight, I'm like okay I'm gone it's fine, but I'm happy that I still have a job)," Mark said.

The first "Ultimate Male Starstruck Survivor" also shared that he was surprised that the video went viral and some people criticized his stint in a gay bar.

“Actually, nagulat ako na nag-viral siya tapos natuwa ako kasi may mga nagde-defend… Hindi ako humihingi ng awa, pero nasa stage ako ng buhay na wala akong pakialam sa kanila. (Actually, I was surprised that he went viral and then I was happy because there are people defending... I'm not asking for sympathy, but I'm at a stage in life where I don't care about them)" he said.

"I know it’s a gay bar, pero kasi sa atin grabe ‘yung mga Pilipino na mag-judge ng tao na parang akala nila meron silang karapatan mang-judge sa mga buhay ng tao. (I know it's a gay bar, but it's because we Filipinos are terrible at judging people as if they think they have the right to judge people's lives)'' he added.
