The political revenge drama “Buried Hearts” will be premiering on Disney+ this month. 

In “Buried Hearts,” when a political investigation uncovers corruption and embezzlement at a leading Korean conglomerate, a scheming executive attempts to curry favor. 

The drama stars Park Hyung-sik (“Soundtrack #1,” “Happiness,” “Suits”) as scheming executive Seo Dongju; Huh Joonho (“Bloodhounds,” “Why Her”) as manipulative professor and powerbroker Yeom Jangseon; Hong Hwayeon (“True to Love,” “Mental Coach Jegal”) as Yeo Eunnam and Lee Haeyoung (“Vigilante,” “Bloodhounds”) as Huh Ildo.

It is written by Lee Myeonghee (“Money Flower,” “Jang Yeongsil”) and directed by Jin Changkyoo (“Military Prosecutor Doberman,” “Bad Papa”).

A controversial energy project has brought the multinational Daesan Group into the spotlight. Accused of mismanagement, embezzlement and corruption, with two trillion won (about $1.38 billion) of government funding missing, the company finds itself under investigation by Korea’s National Assembly. 

Seeing the investigation as an opportunity to advance his career and one day take control of the company, morally ambiguous Daesan Group executive Seo Dongju begins bribing, blackmailing and employing other illicit means to save the Group and establish himself as an irreplaceable part of the company.

“Buried Hearts” will premiere on Disney+ on Feb. 21.
