Designing a home is more than just choosing furniture and colors—it’s about creating a space that reflects who you are. Every piece, from the artwork on the walls to the layout of the rooms, tells a story. A well-designed home isn’t just stylish; it’s personal, comfortable, and an extension of your lifestyle.

The first time Donny Pangilinan stepped into his condo, it was more of a storage space than a home—a man cave filled with random things. After years of work and travel, he decided it was time to make the place truly his own. Coming from a well-known family, Donny initially had reservations about stepping into the limelight, but he has since built an impressive career with notable roles in "He’s Into Her" and the hit series "Can’t Buy Me Love." His latest project, "How to Spot a Red Flag," features him as a charming good boy caught in a love triangle with a Belle Mariano and Jameson Blake.

“So this place right here means a lot to me because it was the very first investment I made when I first entered showbiz. I really wanted one of my goals to be to purchase a place that I can call my own home, a place to rest, especially near the city,” he shared in his condominium tour vlog on his YouTube channel.

With help from Oppein Philippines, the world’s largest modular cabinet manufacturer operating in over 118 countries, Casa Bella, and Design Story, the once-bare condo took shape. Oppein’s expertise in blending European design with cutting-edge technology played a key role in transforming the space into a functional yet stylish retreat. His sister, Ella, a graduate of interior design, also played a big part in the vision, suggesting they could fix the condo to make it more modern and personal.

Inside his office, a wall is adorned with cityscapes of New York City—one of his favorite places—alongside a Hansel 3-seater sofa from Taylor Living and a self-portrait in oil pastels that he drew at age six.

The two-bedroom unit, each with its own bathrooms, along with a balcony, became a sanctuary—a space to unwind and prepare for another day. The design leans modern-industrial, with raw cement finishes and a minimalist approach. The walls, once plain, now hold pieces of his story—a painting from his sister, a childhood self-portrait, a Lego Darth Vader among books. Every object carries a memory.

The main entertainment area balances comfort and function. A plush sofa from Taylor Living invites rest, while a well-placed lamp sets the mood—low-lit, just the way he likes it. Across the space, a dining table from Oppein Philippines sits beneath a beach house painting, a nod to his family’s love for diving.

His office, once closed-off, now feels open with a glass wall. A black-and-white mural of New York City towers over the desk—an inspiration to keep moving forward, he mentions that it is one of his favorite cities.

The kitchen was fully reconstructed to meet his needs, complete with a refrigerator, a range hood from Fotile, and two full-size mirrors

The master bedroom is a retreat. Blackout curtains ensure deep rest, while built-in lights provide the right ambiance. A single chair in the corner serves a simple purpose—to sit, reflect, and prepare for the next day.

It’s not finished yet. There’s still room to grow, things to add, and spaces to fill. But that’s the beauty of a home—it evolves with you. And for Donny, this condo is no longer just a place to stay. It’s his space, his story in the making.
