260 police officers promoted in Quezon


CAMP NAKAR, Lucena City, Quezon – Two-hundred sixty police officers from the Quezon Police Provincial Office were promoted during a ceremony in this camp on Thursday, Feb. 6.

Newly promoted Quezon police personnel are sworn in on Thursday, Feb. 6, in Camp Nakar, Lucena City.  

Police Brig. Gen. William Segun, deputy commander, Area Police Command-Southern Luzon, administered their oathtaking and presided over the donning and pinning of ranks.

Sixteen were police commissioned officers and 144 were police non-commissioned officers.

Segun congratulated the promotees for achieving a milestone in their career as police officers.

“Your well-deserved promotion brings with it new ranks that symbolize not only your hard work and dedication but also the significant responsibility to serve and protect our community. With this honor comes the duty to uphold the values of justice and integrity,” Segun said.
