Teen drug suspect arrested in Pasay City buy-bust

An 18-year-old drug suspect was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police during the conduct of a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect, who was listed in the drug watchlist, was identified as “Tong.” He was arrested at around 6:30 p.m.in Barangay 56 Zone 7, Pasay City.

Tong yielded 5.8 grams of shabu worth P39,440 and 7.3 grams of high grade dried marijuana leaves worth P10,950. 

The suspect was detained at the Pasay City Police custodial facility and was charged for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article 2 of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
