PRO 3 chief assures enhanced security, public safety for May polls
Central Luzon Police Regional Director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo has assured enhanced security and public safety in the province of Bulacan as part of the preparations for the midterm elections in May.

Fajardo gave the assurance to Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando during her courtesy call on him as well as during the command conference at the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) in Camp General Alejo Santos in Malolos, Bulacan on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Fajardo was welcomed by Bulacan Police Director Col. Satur L. Ediong, Bulacan PPO Command Group, staff officers, chiefs of police, force commanders, and the chiefs of provincial support units.
She also inspected the confiscated loose, deposited, and surrendered firearms.

This was followed by a command conference and a visit to the Command Center, where a simulation exercise (SIMEX) was conducted to test the response time of the Tactical Motorcycle Riding Unit - Dedicated Rider Force (TMRU-DRF) and mobile patrolling police.
The exercise was monitored through the Command Center with GPS installed in the patrol mobile units and TMRU-DRF Motorcycles.
Fajardo also inspected the Provincial Election Monitoring Action Center (PEMAC) which is essential to ensuring the smooth and secure conduct of the upcoming elections.
During her courtesy call on Governor Fernando, they discussed ongoing efforts to enhance the security preparations for the May elections.
