Over P300,000 worth of shabu seized in Valenzuela buy-bust

A total of P394,000 worth of shabu was seized from a 28-year-old man who was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dalandanan, Valenzuela City.

Operatives from the Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS) conducted the operation after receiving a report from barangay officials.

A police officer acted as a poseur-buyer and purchased illegal drugs from the suspect leading to his arrest.

VCPS chief Col. Nixon Cayaban stated that the suspect was not a resident of the city but was from Barangay Bancal, Meycauayan, Bulacan, which borders Valenzuela City.

Police confiscated P394,000 worth of shabu and the buy-bust money from the suspect.

He is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said.
