Man hacked dead by 2 neighbors

TAAL, Batangas â€“ A 45-year-old man was allegedly hacked to death by two neighbors in Barangay Butong here on Tuesday morning, Feb. 4.

Police identified the victim as Reymar.

Investigation said Reymar was resting in his nipa hut when the suspects Efren and Sherwin armed with bolos arrived.

An altercation between the suspects and victim erupted during which the duo hacked Reymar to death.

The suspects fled and Reymar was taken to the Lemery Doctors Hospital where he was declared dead due to multiple hack wounds in the body.

Police are pursuing the suspects who face appropriate charges.
