K-pop idol-actor Taecyeon dismisses marriage rumors after Paris photos spread online

Ok Taecyeon, the leader of K-pop boy band 2PM and actor, refuted rumors that he is getting married soon.

Rumors about his marriage surfaced after photos of him and his non-celebrity girlfriend taken in Paris spread online.

Taecyeon admitted being in a romantic relationship with the non-celebrity woman in 2020.

After the Paris photos spread, his agency, 51K, refuted the marriage rumors.

"It's just a simple couple snapshot. It doesn't mean that Ok Taecyeon proposed or that they're getting married right away. There are no plans for marriage right now," the agency said, Korean media reported.

It added, "Ok Taecyeon is dating his non-celebrity girlfriend with good feelings. They will get married when the time is right, but the content spreading through online communities is completely groundless."

Reports added that the photos were taken by a photographer in Paris in April last year but were uploaded by a Chinese fan.

Meanwhile, Taecyeon will hold his fan meeting in South Korea on Feb. 15 and 16, and in Japan on March 8.
