Western Visayas police seize P45-M illegal drugs in January

ILOILO CITY – Police confiscated P45-million worth of illegal drugs from 344 suspected drug pushers in Western Visayas in January.

The Police Regional Office-6 said P43.2 million was suspected shabu and P1.8 million was marijuana.

"These figures reflect our dedication to our campaign to eliminate the threat of illegal drugs," said PRO-6 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky in a statement.

The Negros Occidental  Police Provincial Office arrested 133 suspects, followed by the Iloilo City Police Office with 81 drug suspects and Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) with 73.
