“Upon thorough validation and investigation conducted in coordination with the Southern District Anti-Cybercrime Team (SDACT), it was established that the viral videos of alleged snatching incidents along C5 Road were old footages, some dating back to 2023 and 2024, and not recent occurrences,” the SPD said.

Meanwhile, the SPD said it will coordinate with the Parañaque Police about a mauling incident at the Bicutan Interchange footbridge.
“Regarding the alleged mauling incident at the Bicutan Interchange footbridge, which falls under the jurisdiction of Parañaque City, an immediate inspection was conducted by SPD personnel. Despite this, the SPD remains committed to monitoring and coordinating with Parañaque City Police Station to enhance security in the area,” it said.
