Police, DSWD summon parents of children in viral video beating up a girl in Bulacan
The police and the Social Welfare Development Office (DSWD) have summoned the parents of the children involved in the now-viral video of them ganging up and beating another girl in Bulacan that enraged netizens.

The video showed around 11 children, including the victim who was sitting on the floor crying. One kid slapped the girl, followed by others who pulled her hair and hit her on the head while holding it.
The girl was begging and shouting "tama na! tama na! (Please, stop), but the group of children continued beating her while laughing as if they were enjoying the assault.
The video concerned many netizens, prompting the authorities to summon the children, along with their parents to explain the incident.
The uploader of the video has also been identified.
The barangay officials brought the children and their parents to the police station and also to the city's DSWD for questioning.
Netizens said everyone in the video should be held accountable, stressing that an apology is not enough given the severity of the incident.
They also said the parents of the children should also be held accountable for not properly guiding their children.
