Man nabbed for stealing truck with P392K products in Imus

CAVITE – Authorities apprehended a man for allegedly stealing a truck loaded with P392,789 worth of hardware products in Imus City on Monday, Feb. 3.

A report from the Police Regional Office 4A identified the suspect as alias Reynaldo.

Initial investigation by the Imus Component City Police Station stated that the suspect drove away the aluminum van from the compound of a trucking company in Barangay Buhay na Tubig at 4:00 a.m.

Upon discovery that the aluminum van was missing, the coordinator of the trucking company traced the vehicle through a global positioning system device and found it in Bacoor City.

The coordinator, along with two drivers of the trucking company, followed the trail and cornered the suspect, recovering the stolen truck and its contents.

Alias Reynaldo is now under police custody and is facing a charge for violating the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016.
