Man faces charges following seizure of guns, explosives, illegal drugs in Bulacan
A 47-year-old man faces multiple charges after police seized on Monday, Feb. 3, firearms, ammunition, and illegal drugs during a raid on his house in Barangay Sumandig in San Ildefonso, Bulacan.

Col. Satur L. Ediong, Bulacan police director, said police operatives implemented a search warrant that resulted in the arrest of the suspect identified only as "Ed", 47, a resident of the village.
Col. Ediong said the operatives also found several illegal firearms inside the suspect’s house including a pistol equipped with a laser sight, two suspected converted rifles with scopes, magazines, and a stockpile of ammunition. A fragmentation grenade was also discovered.
The Bulacan police director said the authorities also found dried marijuana leaves, a weighing scale, and drug paraphernalia in the house, reinforcing suspicion of the suspect’s involvement in illegal drug activities.
