Drug suspect nabbed in Las Piñas City

A drug suspect was arrested by members of the Las Piñas City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section during an operation against wanted criminals on Monday, Feb. 3.

Las Piñas Police chief Col. Sandro Tafalla identified the suspect as  “Roel,” 34. He is ranked as Top 9 most wanted person under the station level. 

Tafalla said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Anne Beatrice Aguana Balmaceda of the Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court, Branch 200 for violation of Section 12 of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), under Criminal Case Nos. 23-1037 and 23-1038.

He said Roel was detained at the Las Piñas Police custodial facility after his arrest.
