QC gov't issues traffic advisory for Philippine Heart Center Charity Fun Run

The Quezon City government announced road closures for the Philippine Heart Center (PHC) Charity Fun Run on Sunday, Feb. 9.

Motorists must expect heavy traffic on the following roads:

* Matalino Street
* Portion of East Avenue 
* Portion of Kalayaan Avenue 
* Mayaman Street 
* Maginhawa Street 
* V. Luna Road 
* Portion of Malaga’s Lane

Meanwhile, portions of Matalino Street, Malaga’s Lane, and Mayaman Street will be closed to traffic from 2:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. 

Participants may park their vehicles at 34F Matalino Street, Diliman and Mayan Street Quezon City Hall parking entrance.

Personnel from Traffic and Transport Management Department (TTMD) and the Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) will be on standby in the said areas.
