A painter who sexually abused his niece and a man accused of slight physical injuries were arrested by members of the Las Piñas City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) on Sunday, Feb. 2.
Las Piñas City Police chief Col. Sandro Tafalla said the suspects were identified as alias “Frendo,” 32, a painter, tagged the Top 1 most wanted person under station level, and alias “Marcelo,” 30, tagged as the Top 10 most wanted person.

Tafalla said Marcelo was first arrested at around 10:00 a.m. by members of the WSS in Barangay Pamplona Uno, followed by Frendo who was arrested at around 11:00 a.m. in Barangay Elias Aldana, Las Piñas City.
He said Marcelo was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Teodoro S. Carbonera of Las Piñas City Metropolitan Trial Court, Branch 121 on Jan. 13, 2025 for slight physical injuries.
The city police chief said Carbonera issued the warrant of arrest for service of sentence and no bail was recommended.
Tafalla said Frendo was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Mildred Jacinto Marquez of Las Piñas City, Family Court, Branch 2, on Jan. 13 with no bail recommended for 13 counts of statutory rape and two counts of rape by sexual assault.
He said police records showed Frendo repeatedly sexually abused his 13 year-old niece and threatened her not to inform her parents.
The police chief said both suspects are currently undergoing procedural booking and will be turned over to the proper authorities for legal proceedings.
