CEBU CITY – A 44-year-old drug pusher was arrested with more than P1-million worth of suspected shabu in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

Josephine Utlang was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Damlas, Tagbilaran on Sunday night, Feb. 2.
Police Lt. Col. John Kareen Escober, chief of the Tagbilaran City Police Station, said the suspect was listed as a high-value individual.
Escober said packs of shabu weighing 155 grams valued at P1,054,000 were recovered from the suspect.
He said that based on the information that they gathered, the suspect was capable of selling 50 grams of shabu a week in Tagbilaran and neighboring areas.
Her arrest was part of Oplan: Limpyo Tagbilaran, the city’s flagship anti-crime initiative that focuses on the campaign against illegal drugs.
“This operation shows that we are serious in our campaign against illegal drugs. Illegal drugs are a threat to our community and we will not allow the lives of our constituents to be destroyed,” said Escober.
