Businessman dies in collision with bus

SARIAYA, Quezon – A 54-year-old businessman died in a collision with a passenger bus on the Eco-Tourism Road in Barangay Guis-Guis Talon here on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 2.

Police identified the victim as Ricky de Castro of Barangay Malaya, Rosario, Batangas.

De Castro was driving a motorcycle when he crashed into a DLTB bus with license plates ACC-8860 driven by Rene Nonsol, 33.

The victim was taken to a hospital here where he was declared dead due to serious injuries.

Nonsol faces a case of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
