KaladKaren breaks silence on rumors of marital woes with husband Luke Wrightson

Actress and TV5 news anchor KaladKaren clarified that she and her husband, Luke Wrightson, have not separated.

KaladKaren cleared the issue at the end of the primetime news program "Frontline Pilipinas" on TV5 on Feb. 28.

Her full statement: "Lilinawin ko lang yung issue tungkol sa amin ni Luke. (I'll just clarify the issue about Luke and me.)

"You know, our marriage is not perfect. Like other couples, there will be misunderstandings. There will be challenges and it doesn't help that sometimes we don't get together because Luke is working abroad.

"But for 13 years, we've been through many times and every day, we choose to love each other. So, it's still us. We're still together. We have no problem. We are happy as a couple.

KaladKaren said Luke has just arrived in the Philippines this afternoon. "Nagulat siya. Tawa siya ng tawa. Wala po talagang issue. Kami pa rin po. (He was surprised. He laughed out loud. There was really no issue. It was still us.)

She also explained about the break-up song she did on TikTok, and the missing Instagram photos.

"Regarding Ariana Grande's song entitled 'We Can't Be Friends,' I felt like doing it on TikTok that day.

"Then, my pictures on Instagram are being fixed by the management for work. So they removed some pictures. But they will put it back. I was surprised some of my photos were not there.

"Netizens made a story out of these, and some even shared fake news or videos. I think the story's moral is that we have to be responsible with the content we receive and consume. Let's be careful about fake news. Let's mind our own business," KaladKaren ended.
