The Sakers overcame a slow start against the determined Thunders, then zoomed away in the second half where they hiked their lead to 22 in the fourth quarter, 58-36.

Assem Marei led the way for Changwon as he registered 14 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and three steals while Heo Il-Young and Jeong In-Deok added 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Returning on Korean soil after serving Gilas Pilipinas in the third and final window of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers, Carl Tamayo had a quiet but decent four points, four rebounds, and two assists for the Sakers, who climbed to second place with a 25-14 record.

Lee Weon-Sook and former NBA player Glenn Robinson combined for 28 points while Fil-American Justin Gutang had eight points, two rebounds, two steals and one steal for Seoul.

The Thunders fell deeper with a 12-26 slate.

Meanwhile, former Golden State bigman Omari Spellman and Fil-Am Ethan Alvano carried the scoring load and anchored the Wonju DB Promy past the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus, 89-80.

Spellman listed a game high 24 points on top nine rebounds and four assists while Alvano delivered 20 points, hauled seven rebounds and dished seven assists with two steals, leading the Promy to back-to-back victories.
