Here's something to excite local Tesla fans. Tesla Philippines has unveiled the latest version of the Model Y, marking its first appearance in the country. The new Model Y brings notable design updates, improved efficiency, and enhanced comfort features.
The new Model Y will be on display at EDSA Shangri-La Plaza from February 26 to March 9, 2025, allowing interested buyers to experience the vehicle firsthand. The new model is available in two variants: the Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive, priced at ₱2,369,000 with 466-kilometers of range, and the Model Y Long Range, priced at ₱2,689,000 with 551-kilometers of range. Tesla has also introduced a special Launch Series, which features exclusive design elements such as a customized launch badge at the rear, a puddle light badge, and a door sill plate with a ‘Launch Series’ wordmark.
The New Model Y features a redesigned exterior that improves aerodynamics for better range efficiency. A new cross-car lightbar at the front and an indirect reflective taillight take inspiration from Tesla’s Cybertruck and Cybercab, giving the vehicle a futuristic aesthetic. Additionally, a new Glacier Blue paint option is now available.

Tesla has also refined the interior cabin, introducing a quieter ride through the use of double-layer glass for all windows. The panoramic glass roof now offers enhanced UV and heat protection, reducing heat penetration seven times more effectively than the previous model. The cabin features an all-black vegan suede trim and silver accents on the center charging console for a more refined look.
The new aerodynamic design includes redesigned wheels and a rear diffuser that optimizes lift balance and reduces air resistance. These improvements contribute to better efficiency and a more stable ride, especially at high speeds. The New Model Y offers strong performance across both variants. The Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and has a range of 466 km (WLTP). Meanwhile, the Model Y Long Range with All-Wheel Drive can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds in the Launch Series and offers a range of 551 km (WLTP). Both models have a top speed of 201 km/h.
The cabin is equipped with several premium features, including ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, and a second-row 8-inch touchscreen display for rear passengers. The premium sound system includes 15 speakers with a subwoofer in the Long Range variant, while the Rear-Wheel Drive model comes with nine speakers.
Additionally, the New Model Y features easier seat adjustments, allowing rear seats to be folded at the push of a button, increasing cargo space to 2,130 liters.
Tesla’s latest V4 Supercharger technology enables fast charging for the New Model Y. Owners can charge their vehicle at the first V4 Supercharging Station at Uptown Mall, which provides four dedicated Superchargers. Charging at a V4 Supercharger can add up to 266 km of range in just 15 minutes. Tesla also plans to expand its charging network in the country, with another V4 Supercharger station set to open at Shangri-La Plaza EDSA.
The New Model Y is now available for order through Tesla’s official website. Interested customers can also sign up for test drives and receive updates about vehicle availability.
