STL operator stabbed to death in Laguna

PAGSANJAN, Laguna – A 39-year-old Small Town Lottery (STL) operator was allegedly stabbed to death dead by a 23-year-old jobless man in Barangay Sampaloc here on Wednesday morning, Feb. 26.

Police identified the victim as Mark Angelo de Mesa, single, a resident of Barangay San Isidro, this town.

Initial investigation said that the victim and the suspect Angelo, single, of Barangay Poblacion Uno, had an altercation.

Angelo drew a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest.

The suspect escaped and the victim was taken to Laguna Medical Center in Santa Cruz, Laguna where he was declared dead.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation and a manhunt against the suspect.
