Fresh from his stint with the Gilas Pilipinas, Quiambao displayed his formidable form by dishing out a career-high 18 assists on top of 12 points, eight rebounds and three steals in leading the Skygunners’ second-half onslaught en route to the win.

It was the most assists made so far in this season, and seventh most in the league since its establishment in 1997.

Korean national team member and former Suwon guard Heo Hoon holds the record with 21 assists in a match five years ago.

With Quiambao’s stellar passing, four other players scored in double figures with Lee Jae-Do and Park John-Ha posting 19 points each, and Alan Williams and Choi Seung-Wook contributing 17 and 10 points, respectively.

The win improved the Skygunners to a 13-26 record at ninth place, while Egis remained at seventh with a 15-25 card despite Cady Lalane and Heo Ung scoring 26 and 16 points, respectively.

Meanwhile, JD Cagulangan and the Suwon KT Sonicboom dismantled the Anyang JKJ Red Boosters, 63-56, to return to the winning column.

Cagulangan registered a decent performance with four points, two rebounds, five assists and one steal as Rayshaun Hammonds carried the load for Suwon with an impressive 19-point, 17-rebound output.

Suwon hiked its tally 22-17 while Anyang dropped to 14-25.
