Bulacan provincial gov't receives multiple awards from Department of Tourism
The Provincial Government of Bulacan (PGB), through the Provincial History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office (PHACTO), received multiple awards at the Tourism Recognition for Enterprises and Stakeholders (TRES) Awards of the Department of Tourism - Region 3.
GRAND WINNER IN TOURISM -- Provincial Administrator Antonia Constantino, on behalf of Governor Daniel Fernando, receives multiple awards as the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office was hailed as the grand winner of Outstanding Heritage and Cultural Tourism Award for SINEliksik Bulacan and Most Outstanding Culinary Tourism Program for Kalutong Bulakenyo, and second runner-up for Most Outstanding Festival for Singkaban Festival during the TRES (Tourism Recognition for Enterprises and Stakeholders) Awards by the Department of Tourism - Region 3 Office at the Quest Plus Conference Center, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga on Wednesday, Feb, 26. The awarding ceremony was held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the Quest Plus Conference Center in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
Bulacan, known for its rich cultural heritage, national artists, and historical significance, received honors such as Most Outstanding Heritage and Cultural Tourism Award for SINEliksik Bulacan and Most Outstanding Culinary Tourism Program for Kalutong Bulakenyo.
The province was also cited as second runner-up for Most Outstanding Festival for Singkaban Festival.
The late Dr. Eliseo dela Cruz, former PHACTO head, was also recognized for his contributions to tourism. His sister, Christine dela Cruz, accepted the award on his behalf.
Provincial Administrator Antonia Constantino, along with PHACTO head May Arlene Torres and Tourism Division head Limuel Jan Lobederio, received the awards on behalf of the province.
The tourism offices of San Jose del Monte, Malolos, and Baliwag were also recognized for their initiatives in improving visitor experiences and maintaining high tourism standards in the province.
The TRES Awards is Central Luzon's premier tourism recognition program, honoring individuals, businesses, organizations, and local governments for their efforts in promoting and enhancing the region’s tourism industry.
