10 drug peddlers nabbed in Bulacan


The Bulacan Police arrested 10 suspected drug peddlers and seized a total of P497,284 illegal drugs from them on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

According to the police report, two drug suspects were identified as alias Tope and alias Cindy.

The suspects were arrested in Barangay Caingin along NIA road during the buy-bust operation conducted by Bocaue police.

Recovered from the suspects were shabu weighing 30 grams worth P204,000 and the buy-bust money.

In another buy-bust operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Miguel police, three drug suspects were nabbed.

Recovered from them were 10 plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P13,600 and the buy-bust money.

Police authorities of Marilao identified the suspect as alias Beric, 27. He was arrested around 11:45 p.m. in Barangay Loma De Gato.

Recovered from the suspect were five plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated value of P6,800, one caliber revolver without a serial number loaded with two live bullets, and the buy-bust money.

The Norzagaray police arrested four armed suspects after allegedly giving a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer during a buy-bust operation in Sitio Mataas na Kahoy, Barangay Tigbe.

Lt. Col. Ismael C. Gauna, Norzagaray police chief, identified the suspect as alias "Bulag", 43, alias “Anno”, 29, alias “Roger”, 40, and alias “Nold”, 47.

A total of 46 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 40.13 grams and worth P272,884 was seized in the operation. 

Also confiscated were a caliber .38 revolver with six pieces of ammunition, an improvised shotgun (PAPPAK) with ammunition, and two 12-gauge shotgun rounds.

Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 and charges for violations of Section 261 of the Omnibus Election Code, and Republic Act 1059 are now being prepared against the suspects.
