
A Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) with an Office of the President sticker reportedly crashed into a post in Manila on Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred around midnight along Taft Avenue.
According to authorities, the SUV, driven by a Chinese national, collided with the post and caused the vehicle to flip over and hit a motorcycle rider behind it.
The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) said the SUV had a sticker of the Office of the President which is now being verified for legitimacy.
The impact severely damaged both the front and rear of the SUV and the front of the motorcycle.
MDRRMO personnel provided first aid to the injured motorcycle rider who sustained various injuries in his body.
The SUV driver also suffered arm abrasions.
Authorities said the SUV driver may have been under the influence of alcohol.
The Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit has taken custody of the SUV driver.
