Their burgeoning success has led to a significant milestone—becoming the official ambassadors for lifestyle brand N.Cat. In a recent interview with Style Weekend, G22 shared insights into their aspirations, ambitions, and the style secrets that define their unique identity.

What other girl groups do you look up to?

Jaz: I’ve always loved Little Mix. I grew up listening to them.

AJ: I’m proud of what BINI is achieving right now. We understand their struggles and journey, and I’m proud of how far they’ve come—touring the world and selling out concerts.

Alfea: We’re proud of what our seniors have achieved, and we can see a bright future for P-pop because of them.

Which local artist/s would you like to collaborate with?

Jaz: Zae. I always listen to her songs—they uplift my mood.

AJ: KZ Tandingan.

Alfea: For me, KZ’s husband, Kuya TJ.

What’s your next goal?

Right now, we’re going with the flow and focusing on our discography. We have big dreams and want to keep going strong every day—showing up and choosing this path, choosing each other. We truly believe in God’s perfect timing, and with that, we’ll continue doing our best.

Aside from music, fans also admire your fashion. How does it feel to influence them in this way?

AJ: It’s so heartwarming. We all have different fashion senses, and it seems like people see themselves represented in each of us. That’s what touches our hearts—knowing we serve as references and inspirations.

How would you describe your fashion style?

Jaz: I’d describe my style as elegant and feminine. I love flowy clothes with intricate details, fabrics that feel luxurious, and anything that makes me feel like a beautiful woman.

AJ: Androgynous and very maximalist—maburloloy (full of embellishments).

Alfea: I prioritize comfort—baggy clothes, jeans, and tank tops. But I still like to show a little skin, so I’m not completely covered up.

Can you share your skincare and makeup routines?

Jaz: My tip is to really listen to your skin, especially with skincare. Adjust your routine depending on whether your skin is drier or oilier. I wouldn’t say I have a fixed routine, but one thing I always do is moisturize. I also love unscented moisturizers—they’re better for the skin.

AJ: I went through a lot with my skin. I had a really, really bad breakout, and it was my fault—I experimented too much with skincare. My advice? Do not experiment. Study and research what you’re putting on your face.

Alfea: And if needed, seek professional help.

How do you prioritize your overall wellness despite your busy schedule?

Alfea: I make sure to spend time with myself and my friends. I recently picked up badminton, which helps me stay active and connected. It also reminds me that, outside of work, I’m still a normal person with a life beyond this industry. I also make it a point to go to church.

Jaz: Spending time with yourself is important. Since we’re always surrounded by our group and team—which we love—it’s refreshing to have moments of solitude. It gives you time to reflect on what you’re grateful for and why you started in the first place, which keeps you going.

I also love reading and watching podcast videos—they help ground me. And, of course, I have two beautiful dogs. Pet owners will understand how they make you want to come home, wake up, and take care of them. Their love is truly fulfilling.

AJ: I’m a mental health advocate, and I go to therapy. Seeking professional help when needed is crucial. I believe mental health is just as important as physical health.

I also do daily devotionals, leaning closer to God and relying on my support system—Him. It’s essential to have open conversations about mental health and therapy. If you need help, seek it.

What’s next for G22 and N.Cat?

AJ: There’s an upcoming fashion show, and a lot is in store for our collaboration—especially in fashion. Stay tuned for announcements on N.Cat’s social media and G22’s official accounts!
