Makati buy-bust nets high-value target, P748K shabu

Police seized P748,000 worth of shabu and arrested a 24-year-old high-value target in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Olympia, Makati City, on Tuesday night, Feb. 25.

The Makati City Police Station recovered from the suspect, identified as “Paolo,” approximately 110 grams of shabu.

Authorities said the suspect has been placed under police custody for investigation. He will be charged with violating Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) of Republic Act 9165 before the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.

Southern Police District Director (SPD) Brig. Gen. Manuel J. Abrugena commended the operatives for their efforts against illegal drugs.

He said the operation reflects their commitment to keeping drugs off the streets and vowed to continue enforcing the law to protect communities.

To keep the fight against illegal drugs, the SPD urged the public to stay vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities in their areas.
