Filipinos' support for the Alansya para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial line-up has so far been "strong", according to campaign manager Toby Tiangco.

Tiangco gave this assessment of the administration-backed slate after two weeks worth of campaign sorties and rallies in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Alyansa--backstopped by no less than President Marcos--has carried out major rallies in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte; Iloilo City; Carmen, Davao del Norte; Pasay City, Metro Manila; Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental; and Victorias City, Negros Occidental since the beginning of the campaign season last Feb. 11.

“Alyansa has received an overwhelmingly positive response from Filipinos, which reflects strong support for President Bongbong Marcos and his Bagong Pilipinas agenda,” said Tiangco, congressman of Navotas' lone district.

The Alyansa slate is composed of former Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Senator Pia Cayetano, former Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, Senator Lito Lapid, Senator Imee Marcos, former Senator Manny Pacquiao, former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Senator Francis “Tol” Tolentino, ACT-CIS Rep. and former Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) secretary Erwin Tulfo, and House Deputy Speaker Las Piñas lone district Camille Villar.

“Everywhere we go, we see the enthusiasm of the people. They want leaders who will push for continuity, stability, and real reforms that will uplift their lives,” Tiangco pointed out.

“From the north in Laoag to the Visayas and Mindanao, the message is clear—our people trust this administration’s vision, and they want a Senate that will work with the President, not against him,” he added.

Tiangco--who Marcos handpicked to be campaign manager--noted that in every campaign stop, the Alyansa slate had been warmly received, with large crowds eager to hear the platforms of each candidate.

He noted that turnout in several areas exceeded expectations. He said this indicated strong grassroots support for the administration-backed candidates.

“We are not just seeing high attendance at our events—we are seeing genuine excitement and engagement. People are eager to hear from our candidates and understand their plans for economic growth, infrastructure development, and social welfare,” he added.

With more big rallies scheduled in the coming weeks, Tiangco said the administration coalition remains focused on strengthening grassroots connections and building on its positive momentum.

“We are bringing our message straight to the people, and they are responding with overwhelming support. As we continue to visit more provinces, we are confident that voters will stand with us in electing a Senate that will uphold the administration’s vision for national development,” he said.
