Chinese arrested for illegal drugs delivery in Pasay City

A Chinese national was arrested after a delivery rider discovered that the package handed to him contains P37,440 worth of shabu in Pasay City on Feb. 24.
The police identified the suspect as alias “Li.” He was arrested at the Shore 2 Residence, Tower 2, Barangay 76, Pasay City.
According to Pasay City Police Chief Col. Samuel Pabonita, alias “Hamad” was asked by his employer to pick-up P5,000 cash from the suspect.
Hamad told the police that when Li handed to him a small blue box labeled “hydro acid human lubricant,” he became curious and opened to check the parcel.
He said he discovered a plastic sachet of shabu which was about 5.5 grams and worth P37,440.
The police said the rider confronted the suspect who tried to flee but was prevented from doing so through the assistance of a security guard identified as a certain “Michael.”
Pabonita said the incident was immediately reported to the Pasay City Police MOA Substation which led to the immediate arrest of Li.
The suspect was detained at the Pasay City Police custodial facility and charged for violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
