Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary Claire Castro thought former president Rodrigo Duterte should find out why illegal drugs are supposedly back in his bailiwick of Davao City, whose mayor is his own son Sebastian Duterte.

Castro said this after Duterte claimed in a rally over the weekend that illegal drugs have found their way back to Davao, Cebu, and Manila under the leadership of President Marcos.
In a press briefing in Malacañan on Monday, Feb. 24, the Palace official wondered if the supposed return of drugs to Davao City tells something about Mayor Sebastian Duterte's leadership.
"Kung Davao City ang pinag-uusapan natin sino ba ang mayor ng Davao City? Hindi ba ang anak niya? Si Mayor Baste Duterte (If we're talking about Davao City, who's the mayor of Davao City? It's his son, right? It's Mayor Baste Duterte)," she said.
"Ang ibig ba sabihin napaka-inefficient ng anak niya (Does this mean his son is inefficient)?" she floated.
Castro urged former president Duterte to find out what was going on in the city that he used to lead.
"Dapat din siguro alamin din niya (Former president Duterte should also find out)," she said.
"Pero as of now sabi nga natin, anak niya ang namumuno sa Davao City. Bakit ganoon ang kanyang lungsod (But right now, it's his son who is leading Davao City. Why is his city like that)?" she added.
The Palace Press Officer urged Duterte to provide evidence of his claim that drugs have come back.
"Nasaan ang data patungkol dito (Where is his data regarding this)?" Castro asked.
"At least ngayon may record kung may namamatay. Noong panahon niya meron bang nare-record doon sa mga biglang nawawalang mga tao (At least during this administration every death is recorded. Were there any record of the people who suddenly disappeared during his time)?" she added.
