P2.1-M shabu seized from high-value individual in Caloocan buy-bust

Authorities seized P2,176,000 worth of shabu from a high-value individual during a buy-bust operation in Caloocan City on Monday, Feb. 24.

The Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) identified the suspect as “Boss,” 54, a resident of Barangay 176, Caloocan City.

Members of the CCPS and the Northern Police District - Drug Enforcement Unit (NPD-DEU) conducted the operation at around 4:27 a.m. in Phase 3, Package 2, Lot 1, Block 52, Barangay 176, Bagong Silang, leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Authorities recovered 320 grams of shabu worth P2,176,000, a black sling bag, and the buy-bust money.

The suspect will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said.
