DOTr officials ordered by Dizon to submit courtesy resignations

Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon has issued a memorandum mandating all undersecretaries, assistant secretaries, and directors to submit their courtesy resignations.

In a memorandum dated Feb. 24, Dizon said that all current department officials must submit their resignations by Feb. 26, 2025.

The directive follows Dizon's assumption of office on Monday, who replaced former DOTr Secretary Jaime Bautista.

“Until any action is taken by the undersigned on such courtesy resignations, all Undersecretaries, Assistant Secretaries and Directors shall continue to report for work and perform their usual duties and responsibilities, subject to any modification that the undersigned may deem proper to adopt in the meantime,” Dizon said.
