Dingdong Dantes on Charo Santos-Concio: She really inspires me

Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes recently opened up relating his experience working with award-winning actress Charo Santos-Concio.

He told us, "Ay, grabe, kakaiba! Sabi ko nga, napakaswerte ko na makasama lang sa kahit ganitong room si Ma'am Charo—much more makasama siya sa pelikula. Bawat moment na nag-uusap kami, ang dami ko talagang natututunan sa kanya. She really inspires me because of the stories na napagdaanan niya, lahat ng experiences, at pinakamahalaga doon 'yung makita ko firsthand 'yung kanyang talent—'yung makakaeksena mo siya."

May last year, Dingdong posted photos of him together with Charo on INstagram as part of a teaser for thier upcoming film.

According to Dingdong, it tackles various aspects of love.

"Ayoko magbigay ng masyadong details, but very interesting talaga 'yung kwento ng dalawang characters," He said.

He went on to praise Charo.

"Grabe, sobrang hanep talaga! Napaka-professional, napakagaling. Alam naman natin na she's a pillar in this industry. Ako, I look up to her, at talagang nasabi ko, 'Wow, 'yun pala 'yung dahilan bakit 'yung decades of hard work niya ay nakikita ko ngayon, unfolding right in front of my eyes."

Apart from his upcoming film with Charo, Dingdong is busy with various business ventures.

He revealed that he will be partnering with MESA anew as part of their Road to 100 campaign.

Note Mesa will open their 88th branch soon with Dingdong himself partnering in the venture.

"Special po sa akin ang signing na ito because to me it also signifies my inclusion to MESA's history as a brand, dahil I will be soon one of the proud partners of branch 88."

Being a MESA ambassador since 2019, MESA's Chief executive officer Rikki Dee said Dingdong helped Mesa grow.
