AltG Records artist Plume has released his latest single, "Kidlat," a track that captures the beauty of falling in love unexpectedly.

“Kidlat" is a reflection on how love can surprise you when you least expect it—when you think you're done with the idea of romance, only to find your heart opening again.

The title Kidlat, which translates to “lightning,” embodies the suddenness and power of these unexpected emotions. Just as a lightning bolt strikes unpredictably, love can appear out of nowhere, yet it’s something to be cherished and celebrated.

Plume has already released several songs with AltG Records, and this collaboration marks another milestone in his career. With the support of AltG Records, the Baguio-based singer is excited to continue working on future projects together.

The track is already gaining attention, having been featured in GMA Network’s Mga Batang Riles, where it adds a romantic touch during Kidlat’s (Miguel Tanfelix) scenes in the series.

Plume shares his experience working with AltG Records, “Working with AltG Records was such an incredible experience. They are very welcoming, open, and parang naging second family ko na rin sila.”

With its emotive lyrics, powerful storytelling, and the perfect blend of alternative sounds, "Kidlat" promises to strike a chord with anyone who’s ever had love catch them off guard.
