Marian Rivera on being called a stage mom: I don't care

Despite being among succesful actresses of her generation Marian Rivera prioritizes one thing -- being a mom to her kids, Zia (6) and Sixto (5).

Marian's dedication to her children is living proof that being in the limelight and being a hands-on mom is doable.

In an interview, Marian shared how she once dropped a scheduled activity to attend Zia's school event. 

"Meron akong endorsement, launching day. Nagkataon na speaker siya [Zia] sa school. Sabi ko, ‘Anak, hindi kita mapupuntahan.’ Sabi niya, 'Okay, Mama. If you will not go to school, hindi na ako magiging speaker. I will just out myself," Marian shared.

Shocked by her daughter's response, Marian decided to adjust her schedule right there and then.

''So, pinakiusapan namin yung endorsement, baka puwede nating iusod. Naiusod naman dahil lahat naman ng mga iniendorso ko, alam nila talaga na priority ko talaga ang kids ko. So, na-adjust. Malinaw sa kanila at sa akin na hindi puwedeng ma-miss ko ang lahat ng activities nila sa school," Marian added.

Marian doesn't mind being called a stage mom if it means being present for her kids' milestones.

"Okay lang kahit sabihin na stage mom, I don’t care. Nandun ako sa stage na poprotektahan ko yung mga anak ko hanggang kaya ko at maitutuwid ko kung ano yung nakikita kong hindi okay," she said.

Marking another year with Ecran De Luxe, Marian shared how excited and happy she is to be part of the Luxe Beauty and Wellness Group.

"Kaya ko siya [Ecran] gusto kasi everyday ko siya ginagamit, and ang ganda lang din kasi ng vision ng Ecran on how to take of yourself, kaya very excited ako kasi ayoko na gawin ko ito para sa sarili ko, pati na rin sa pamilya ko," Marian shared.

Meanwhile, Luxe Beauty and Wellness Group founder Anna Magkawas expressed her gratitude for Marian's effort to promote their product.

"Super na amazed na talaga ako kung paano niya mahalin yung brand and yung produkto, so nagugulat na lang ako everytime na may nagsasabi sa sakin na pinpost ni Marian yung ecran," Anna said.
