Jellie Aw to pursue case against Jam Ignacio despite apology

Jellie Aw is keen on pushing through with the physical abuse complaint she filed against her fiancé Jam Ignacio at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), this, despite the public apology issued by the latter.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Jellie said, "Wala na pong kasal na magaganap o matutuloy yung mga napag-usapan namin dahil po sa nangyari."

"Hindi po puwedeng napuno lang siya, e,” she added, quoting Jam. "Paano po kapag pinagbigyan ko pa siya ng second chance, paano kung napuno po siya sa akin ulit, gagawin po niya ulit yon, mas grabe pa?"

"Respeto na lang din po sa magulang ko kasi sobrang na-trauma din po yung mama ko, parang gabi-gabi po siyang umiiyak. Hindi ko kaya, hindi ko kaya na ganon yung nanay ko. Kumbaga, siya na lang yung natitira sa akin, e, iingatan ko na siya. Nang dahil kasi dun sa nangyari sa amin ni Jam, naging kritikal pa yung nangyari sa nanay ko ngayon. Hindi po siya makatayo kagabi, e, sa sobra po sigurong pag-aalala niya sa akin, masyado niyang dinamdam."

She made clear, "Noong una pa lang naman po napatawad ko na si Jam, pero tutuloy ko pa rin po yung kaso...tinatanggap ko naman po yung sorry niya, pero gusto ko pong bigyan ng leksyon si Jam sa ginawa niya sa akin."

In his public apology via “24 Oras”, Jam maintained the whole thing stemmed from a simple misunderstanding.

"Sa simpleng hindi pagkakaunawaan and siguro, may halo na rin sigurong pagod sa maghapon na lakad naming e, kumbaga, tao lang din siguro ako... baka napuno lang din siguro ako. Hindi ko sinasabi na tama, pero hindi ko para i-tolerate na gawin ulit. Humihingi ako ng tawad, pasensiya na talaga. Sorry, sorry, sorry sa lahat."
